My contribution to this dark-themed project was a collaboration with Sandbox for a non-profit with an incredibly just cause: fighting online child abuse through the work of the Child Rescue Coalition.
THE GOAL: Craft a powerful way to tell three individual stories about online child abuse, based on Voice Over scripts.
THE SOLUTION: Each targeted film was built around a compelling interview (with a police officer, parent, and reporter). I deconstructed the VO into impactful visuals that combined, formed a cohesive and visually striking narrative.
The dark styleframes were carefully developed to amplify the mood and intensity of the storytelling.

For the project, I developed three storyboards to define the narrative for each of the three films. I aimed to find the optimal storytelling approach for each of the films and developed those into powerful compositions: the goal was for each shot to stand visually on it’s own, while still adding to the overall story and its impact.
