Quiet (True) Confidence
Thoughts are just thoughts.
Some appear more often, so we start actively thinking about them.
We start to identify with them.
All of a sudden, they become »our« thoughts: »I am thinking those thoughts.«
By reacting to thought patterns, we vote for the person we see ourselves as.
We find confidence in »knowing«. A fragile one.
Because thoughts come and go.
Even if they’re inside us,
»our« thoughts are no more »us« than a cloud that passes by.
We notice clouds. Can observe them. And move on. Not knowing.
There is true confidence in not knowing and being ok with it.
